1967

Janez Kavčič senior starts with craft activity
In the beginning, he was engaged in repairing agricultural machinery and manufacturing different agricultural tractor attachment.     
He was manufacturing loading rods, agricultural tractor trailers for transporting Woods, tractor planks for repairing the paths and snow-clearing.

1970

First machine for processing roofing tiles was made that replaced manual wood cutting.

1972

Tractor planks were made for snow-clearing and earth-leveling.

The advantage and inovation was that board was rotating  for 360° and had a chance of position for work next to tractor.

1975

Agricultural tractor trailer of modern shape was made for transporting timber and bigger loads of 5-8 tones.

1980

First machinery for metal processing were bought; milling machine, drilling machine ...

1982

First machine for panel production was made - simultaneous triside production

1985

Production of combined machines for wood processing.

1988

Production of automatic machines and devices to the order and requirements of customers

1990

25^th anniversary of craft - Janz Kavčič senior

1992

Starting the serial production of lathed pieces for industry

1994

Planning and projecting different devices and products.

1995

Janez Kavčič senior transfers the craft to his son.

1997

Enlargement of facilities.

2002

The first new CNC lathe was bought.

2008

Transfer of craft Kavčič Janez s.p. into OKK, Obdelava kovin d.o.o.

Compliance with  standardih ISO 9001.

We opened a new factory and moved in Logatec.

Compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. (We renew the certificates regularly.)

Enlargement of production space.
